Funeral service will be at 12p.m. March 9, 2022 at Gallant Road Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Martin officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 until 12p.m. Burial will be at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery.
Trissie Eulaine Campbell Barron was born at home in Gallant, AL in 1938. She graduated from Etowah High School in 1957, and later graduated at Gadsden State Community College. Eulaine started a long career at Life of Alabama Insurance Company and continued at Mutual Savings and the Etowah County Probate Office. She later worked as an Administrative Assistant at Gulf State Steel and Stewart Law Firm, as well as transcription services for several legal and medical offices.
At an early age, she dedicated her life to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She lived a life of faithful Christian service to her church and her community. Mrs. Eulaine was a dedicated member of Gallant Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her church and family. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting; serving the Lord by providing crocheted baby toys for the Etowah Pregnancy Testing Center. She was a member of the Gallant Homemakers Club where she won state awards for her work. Eulaine was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an avid reader who enjoyed books her entire life. But most of all, she was a beautiful Christian mother and grandmother that loved the Lord and taught by example.
Eulaine was preceded in death by her parents, Lenzy C. Campbell and Geneva Gargus Campbell, her brothers Nolie Bert Campbell, Johnny Mac Campbell, and J.C. McCoy. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jerry Eugene Barron. Her 3 children Terry (Ginger) Barron, Darrell (Kim) Barron, Christy (Brandon) Hammond and her 3 grandsons, Jackson Barron, Nicholas Barron, and Lucas Hammond.
Pallbearers will be: Jackson Barron, Nicholas Barron, Lucas Hammond, Brandon Hammond, Clay Campbell, and Daniel Campbell. Special thanks to Dr. Marian Manankil and Riverview Regional ICU staff. Also special thanks to Jane Martin, friend and caregiver.
